DERWENT Arms ‘B’ sealed their fourth successive Malton & Norton division ‘A’ title win with a 6-1 victory over Bright Steels ‘A’.
Union ‘A’ finished as runners-up, 10 points adrift, after beating New Globe ‘B’ 6-1.
Malton Cons were one point back after a 5-2 win over Bright Steels ‘B’.
Railway Tavern secured the division ‘B’ title in the final week of the season as they beat Royal Oak ‘B’ 5-2.
Hyde Park ‘A’ joined them in gaining promotion despite a 4-3 defeat to Ham & Cheese, as third-placed New Globe ‘A’ missed the chance to leapfrog them after a 4-3 loss to Blue Ball ‘A’.
In the men’s pairs semi-finals, division ‘B’ duo Jeff Brown and Dave Cottington overcame top-flight pair Mark Lund and Darren Rushworth 2-1.
They will face James Milson and Chris Seager, who edged out Don McFarlane and Romane Reeves.
The presentation night will be on Friday, March 27 at Bright Steels Social Club from 8pm.
