PICKERING Town have parted company with manager Mitch Cook.

The former Bridlington boss left the Recreation Ground 'by mutual consent', a statement from the club said.

Cook had been in charge at Mill Lane for a year and his final match at the helm was Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Parkgate.

The statement read: "The club would like to thank Mitch for his contribution to the club both on and off the field and wish him well for the future.

"Applications for the post of manager should be made to the chairman, 3 Eastbeck Close, Sherburn, Malton, YO17 8PU in writing or by e-mail usherso8@btinternet.com

Closing date 20th November 2014."
