RYEDALE Sport’s Club’s croquet section would welcome new members.
The players meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2pm to 5pm at the Ryedale Sports Field, Pickering.
Loan equipment is available and interested people can try three weeks for £1 a week. The game is suitable for all ages and abilities.
John Hurd, chairman of the croquet section, said: “It is a friendly group. The Association Long Lawn Team won the Yorkshire Federation Shield in 2013 and practice has started for this year.”
The croquet section have thanked everyone who donated raffle prizes and bought tickets for the Easter Draw, which raised £800.
