ENGLAND'S Men will head to the LNER Community Stadium for an open training session during their 2024 Guinness Six Nations campaign.

The session will be held on Friday, March 1, taking place from 10am to approximately 12:30pm.

Tickets are available free of charge, with the exception of a £1 booking fee, and can be purchased here.

It will be the team’s second open training session, with the first taking place at Twickenham on February 16.

After visiting York, Steve Borthwick’s squad will then head north during the second fallow week of the competition to continue their preparations for their clash with Ireland at Twickenham the following week.

Borthwick is pleased to be heading to York for the training session, which he hopes will bring supporters as close to his team as possible.

“We are excited to be heading up north for what will be an important week of preparation for us,” he enthused.

“The players and coaches want to bring the supporters as close to this team as possible, so we are looking forward to heading to York to do just that.

“It’s exciting to be able to put on open training sessions like this, both in Twickenham and in York, because it’s a chance for us to show the supporters how hard we are working behind-the-scenes.

“We look forward to seeing you all soon!”

Pete Kitchen, York Community Stadium Manager, added: “We are delighted to be welcoming England Men’s Senior team to the LNER Community Stadium.

“This is a multi-purpose venue that caters for both the local community and elite sport. We can’t wait to welcome rugby fans from around the country to our home.”

England begin their Six Nations campaign in Rome against Italy on February 3.
