EIGHT was great for Jamie Miller who captured the Fulford GC club championship for the eighth time.
Miller finished three shots clear of Damon Coulson, the recently-crowned York Amateur champion, who was defending the Fulford trophy.
Miller posted rounds of 75 and 73 with Coulson carding 79 and 72. A shot further behind Coulson in third place was Richard Cass, last year’s club captain.
Meanwhile, former Fulford GC club champion Stephen East (Moortown) won the English Seniors’ crown at Matfen Hall with 67.
