TOBY HORTON clearly is rather selective, Gazette & Herald February 4, because Burke warned against all political parties. Since we share similar concerns, he and his UKIP pals should join me because I am right on all counts.

The party system, which he supports, is based on French revolutionary ideology and competing factions for power (see Richard Crossman quote in “Warnings Past and Present” on my site) and is therefore the revolution against the English constitution and individual liberty. The fact that UKIP has had favourable publicity proves to me it is a centre-right faction.

As a patriotic opponent of the EU dating back to 1970s, I understand the lure of the UKIP “package”. However, political parties are extremely dangerous organisations and subject to coups as “Iron Lady” Thatcher found out.

By joining me and getting an Independent into the Commons, Toby Horton’s group could help fix both the EU and the English constitution and keep power here in Ryedale. Win win win for the voters.

One example should prove my point beyond any doubt. Farage has dismissed an earlier “manifesto”, which included repealing anti-discrimination legislation. Since anti-discrimination legislation discriminates against the English, such a repeal would have indeed liberated the English. No such liberation is offered. QED.
