Through the endeavour and hard work of the committee and volunteers a good family fun day, organised by Pickering Events Group (PEG), was had by all, after early rain, the event was attended by many.
PEG has donated £100 to the Royal British Legion Pickering branch, our adopted charity for the year. PEG also donated £30 to Pickering Memorial Hall.
The town mayor attended late afternoon and stayed until the end of day, performing many tasks.
The committee would also like to thank Councillor Joy Andrews, and the Memorial Hall for the loan of tables and chairs.
