LAST Monday, the over-60s of Malton & Old Malton enjoyed their annual Christmas party at Malton & Norton Rugby Club.
They enjoyed a full Christmas dinner, free raffle, bingo and entertainment.
May I, through your columns, thank the many people who made this annual event possible? Financial support was received from many local organisations and firms, together with the town council.
Thanks also for the excellent catering from Janet Fairweather, refreshments from Tate Smith, Eileen Boyes for bingo, Tom Todd and his colleagues for entertainment, Rotary and Lions members for providing transport, the rugby club for their support, the many volunteers who helped on the night and finally to Jan Anderson for all her help and support throughout the year.
