MALTON butcher Derek Fox and his wife, Gloria, decided to donate some plants for a piece of land near a snicket near their house.
But they could not believe it when they discovered that an £8 plant out of all those they had given was stolen shortly afterwards.
The small piece of land actually belongs to a neighbour but they decided to provide some plants for it. “But we couldn’t believe it when we discovered that just one of the plants – a Sedum – had been taken,” said Mrs Fox.
