OLDER people are being invited to find out about a new retirement development in Pickering.
An information day for the Mickle Hill scheme is being held on Thursday, October 23, at the Forest and Vale Hotel, in Pickering.
Phase one of the development will open next autumn and will feature a village-style development of 78 bungalows and 90 apartments, set around a number of social and leisure facilities.
MHA, one of the UK’s leading charitable providers of housing, care and support for people in later life, will manage the development, which is being built in partnership with Rangeford, a specialist in building retirement villages and environments.
