LEAVENING Brownies version held their own version of the Grande Depart.
The girls aged five to 10 brought their bikes, water bottles and snacks and all wore a yellow jersey - in most cases Brownie tee shirts - and cycling helmets.
Tawny Owl Jo Phillips, said: "We had various events held on Leavening school field including racing then time trials and we also had an obstacle course to negotiate."
The fastest time trial was won by Tabitha Gaskill aged seven and the intentionally slowest time trial was won by Katie Jackson aged five.
Jo added: "The highlight of the evening was when Graham Hargreaves, father to Brownie, Eve Hargreaves and also an official 'Tour Maker', came to give the girls an idea of what the athletes will be up against."
