A NORTH Yorkshire holiday park has become the latest corporate member of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
The new partnership between Blue Dolphin Holiday Park, near Filey, and the trust will work to restore the chalk grassland on top of the sea cliffs and encourage residents and visitors staying in the park to enjoy the wildlife that is around them.
Tony Martin, reserves programme manager for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust said: “The cliff tops along the Yorkshire Wolds headland are characterised by chalk grassland, a rare habitat type that is perfect for orchids, butterflies and birds like skylark and meadow pipit.
