A BOY sustained serious bruising to his face after being headbutted and punched at a beach party in Scarborough, writes Emily Farrow.
Police said the teenager from Filey was attacked near the Open Air Theatre by a group of five older youths at around 10.30pm on Wednesday.
The suspects are all believed to be about 17 years old.
PC Rebecca Lalor said: “The offenders were unknown to the victim. However, it is possible that quite a few people were on the beach at the time and may have witnessed the incident.”
