MOWGLI, Baloo, Shere Khan and the rest of the crew sang and danced their way through The Jungle Book when pupils at Terrington CE Primary School took to the stage.

Every pupil in the Ryedale school played a part in Rudyard Kipling’s famous tale.

The school puts on a production each January, which is performed to parents and friends in the village hall. Teaching assistant Angela Millar said the children had only two weeks to rehearse and were helped by local actor David Goodwin. She said: “Everyone who came to see it said how much they enjoyed it and how well the children had done.”
