I AM pleased to see in your edition of the Gazette & Herald (May 3), that at last you have decided, with impartiality to cover the Bushite Son Of Star Wars issue and on the front page too, and without prior warning of the impending parliamentary re-election row!

Of course the Tories, to a man and that woman, are jumping on this Anti-Europe bandwagon (Europe being Anti-Star Wars alongside the other trading partner we have cultivated for the last 60 years, namely China, not to mention the rest of the world), after all why should they miss a chance to invest in the new US arms race?

And then there's Tony and his cronies, but not all the Labour party, thank goodness - many have signed up to the Early Day Motion 308 deploring collusion with the US New World Order, even good old Laurie Quinn!

It really is a pity that the great British public, fired up by the recent, inevitable screening of a splurge of pro-Nato war films, are being so blinded that they cannot see the real enemy in this world for all the gunsmoke!

Nato, after the recent Bushite declaration of enemies, is defunct - US Rules Ok.

Not Ok!!! But Nato is still defunct.

What is UN policy?, we should ask.

We can clearly see what US policy is and has been.

Who, we might ask, supplied the transport to allow Chang to 'nick' the Chinese gold reserves and spirited them away to Taiwan.

The Anti-Communist ideal is still there and a new Cold War has begun!!!!!

Perhaps it is time for the British nation to go Liberal again and cut across the barriers of greed and domination.

Keith Orrell is making a stand, so too should the people of Ryedale - again!

If they get Fylingdales and Menwith Hill it will be Brits Go Home and Yanks In - but what do job losses matter when Uncle George Bush is holding us up as a target for his declared enemies to irradiate!!!!!!

As for the UK Independence Party - well they should state a policy of independence, should they not?
