TEDDIES were falling from the skies of Barugh on Saturday at an annual fun day to raise money for the Macmillan Nurse appeal.
At Barugh Fund Day, teddies with parachutes strapped to their furry backs, were winched up a kite and then released so they could float back down to earth.
This sight, which cost 50p, was met with excitement from all the children who were enjoying the village's fun day.
Throughout the day, there were stalls, a raffle and tombola as well as open gardens at 12 residents' homes, leading to over £1,500 being raised for the Macmillan Nurse Appeal.
Despite a few showers, the day proved very successful and was rounded off with a barbecue at the village pub.
