A NORTH Yorkshire public health medicine consultant, Phil Kirby, said this week that he expects to see cases of measles develop in the county because of a decline in the number or children receiving MMR immunisation. He urged any reluctant parents to ensure their children received the vaccine.
The last confirmed case of measles in North Yorkshire was in 1998.
