STUDENTS at Ryedale School, in Nawton, have released a CD which has been produced in collaboration with local singers and musicians.
The CD, which contains solo and band efforts, has been produced to capture performances of pupils from the past and the present, said teacher Paul Clay.
"This is a high quality CD - members of the Kirkbymoorside Town Brass Band and the Bilsdale Silver Band joined the school's own band for the performance," he said.
"Some very experienced singers also joined the likes of school choirs and the CD also contains some excellent solo work. One feature of the CD is a piece of music called the March 'Ryedale', which was specially composed by the school's director of expressive arts Ian Johnson."
