CHILDREN and parents at Kirkbymoorside Primary School had a "wonderful day" at their annual summer fair, held at the weekend.
There was a range of attractions for all ages including handicrafts, face painting and beat the goalie competition.
Headteacher Chris Knowles said that one of the highlights of the day was a dance display by the infant children.
He said: "The weather held out for us and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
"The adults threw themselves into the cake-making competitions while the children had 'beat the goalie' competitions to keep them occupied."
