Malton crew called to kitchen fire in Hovingham
A crew from Malton responded to a report of a fire in a residential property in Main Street, Hovingham 3.51pm yesterday (Sunday).
Crews located a small fire in the kitchen that was out on their arrival. The fire to a basket of items that had been left on the hob had been extinguished by the occupants.

Crews removed the burnt items and made the scene safe. Advice was given to the occupants and the property owner.
