A tractor run is to be held in Ryedale raising funds for a good cause.

The Jack Cariss Memorial Tractor Run will be held on Sunday, October 8, in support of Malton Hospital League of Friends.

The run will start from P Farrow and Sons Scrap Merchant Yard in Swinton at 10am and finish at 4pm at The Smithy Arms.

For those taking part, there is a charge of £15 per tractor which includes a breakfast sandwich and a hot drink.

Events will also be held over the weekend at The Smithy Arms to raise funds for Malton Hospital League of Friends, including a live music event and charity auction on the Friday (October 6) and a quiz night on the Saturday (October 7).
