Crews from Scarborough and Malton responded to reports of a combine harvester on fire in a field of just cut crop tgus afternoon (Saturday).
On arrival at the field near Ebberston, the combine was well alight as well as a portion of the field. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish and dampen down the field and the combine.
