Fire crews were called to two false alarms due to controlled burning on Sunday.
At 8.21pm a crew was called to Westgate, Pickering to a report of conifers on fire. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.
Later the same evening at 9.59pm they were called to Whitehall, Norton, to a report of trees on fire. This again was a false alarm due to controlled burning.
