POLICE carried out speed checks today (January 16) in two popular Ryedale areas – and found no drivers to be speeding.
Officers from the district’s Neighbourhood Policing Team checked over 100 vehicles in Hovingham and Helmsley.

A force spokesperson said: “The good news is that on this occasion none of those vehicles were found to be speeding.
“Keep it up folks, well done.”
