FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the boot of a car this morning (January 13) near Scarborough.
A crew from Scarborough responded to the reports of a fire to a car at 7.21am in Eastfield, on Cayton Low Road.
Upon their arrival, the fire was out.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews disconnected the battery and made the vehicle safe.”
