A spokesperson for Pickering Book Tree said: “Grace Olson has recently appeared on BBC Look North to talk about her book and work with therapy animals.

“She hopes to set up a farm-based therapy centre where rescued farm animals can receive love and care and in turn help to heal the hearts and minds of terminally ill people. The proceeds of this book will go towards making that dream a reality.”

The event will start at 7.30pm, with doors open from 7pm for wine and bookshop browsing.

Tickets are free of charge and can be booked in the shop or at pickeringbooktree.co.uk
