Picture released following scrap metal theft attempt in Malton
POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted theft of scrap metal that occurred in Malton back in July.
The incident happened at the rear of Railway Street at around 6.45pm on July 21.
According to police, it involved "an unknown white man aged between 40 and 50 years old whose image has been captured."
Police have released the above image and added that anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Phil Hazlewood.
