MOORSBUS, the bus service to and through the North York Moors, has restarted for the summer.
Buses will run until September 30 on routes decided and planned by the Moorsbus Community Interest Company, working with its volunteers and passengers.
Bill Breakell, one of the directors of Moorsbus, said: “We’re really delighted with the support we’ve had from so many people who have helped get the service on the road again.”
Mr Breakell added: “We’ll be running our services on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
“Re-connecting people with the North York Moors is increasingly important if we are to protect our inheritance now and for future generations.”
All-day tickets cost £9, local tickets are available, and concessionary passes are accepted on all Moorsbus services.
