4 horses stolen from stable
FOUR horses have been taken from a stables in the Howardian Hills.
The theft - from a stables on House Lane in Oulston - took place between 6pm on Tuesday, April 17 and 9am on Wednesday, April 18.
The horses included one black-and-white stallion, one black-and-white mare, one white mare with a ginger head and one mare in foal.
Police said in an appeal on the community messaging service: "We would like to reassure the equestrian community that this was an isolated incident and there is no immediate risk to other horses in the county.
"If you were in the area during those times and have witnessed anything unusual or have seen these horses please contact police on 101 quoting incident number 12180065934."
