THE Malton branch of the TSB bank has chosen Saint Catherine’s as its charity of the year.
Staff have already started fundraising; the first event was a raffle of a Christmas hamper and a book sale, which raised £179.39. It plans to continue its book sale throughout the year where people can call in and buy or donate second hand books.
Nicky Grunwell, Saint Catherine’s fundraiser, said: “We are very grateful that TSB Malton has chosen us to be their charity of the year. Their support along with the support of others means we are able to continue to provide our care to patients and their families in Ryedale, Scarborough and the surrounding areas.”
