YOUNG dancers will be going to the Emerald City as they perform in a production of the Wizard of Oz.

Oliver Sleightholm, Emily Walker, Kyle Postlethwaite, Ethan Postlethwaite, Annie Dunbar, Lola Elvidge and Callum Hodgson will be playing Munchkins in the musical at the Grand Opera House in York, from April 27 to May 5.

The youngsters all attend Dance Expression School of Dance in Norton.

Lucy Walker, who runs Dance Expression with her sister Anna Wragg, said: “Lola, Ethan and Emily are also taking

part in the York Stage Musical at the Grand Opera House, York on March 17 for a night of different musicals.

“They have all done so well to be selected and we are sure they will have a great time and enjoy the experience.”
