MALTON Bridge Club has started a new social afternoon.
The club is running taster sessions of Duplicate Bridge on Thursday afternoons at 2pm at the St Mary’s Priory Community Centre, Old Malton, for people who enjoy playing bridge but may not be a member of a club.
A spokesperson said: “Malton Bridge Club is a small, friendly club of about 40 members. We play duplicate bridge every Wednesday, with a range of competitions taking place throughout the year. The social sessions on Thursday afternoon are for newcomers to duplicate bridge, and improvers. There is no need to come with a partner, just come along.”
