THE annual Poppy Appeal won’t stop on Remembrance Day for a North Yorkshire haulier company.
The cab of a lorry from YDL Distribution of Barton Hill, has been covered in enormous poppies, including a large poppy on its front.
Tom Clarke, of the company, said: “We’re really proud and pleased to be part of it (the poppy appeal). It means so much to everyone.”
The company delivers consignments all over Yorkshire and the North East.
It plans to keep the special livery on the lorry permanently so that road users will be reminded of the work of the British Legion for months to come.
