POLICE have issued a call for witnesses after more than £700 of diesel was stolen from a farm in the Helmsley area.
The theft happened between 6pm on September 29 and 8am on September 30.
A police community message said: "If anyone has any details regarding any suspicious vehicle that were seen in the area between these times, please call 101 and quote incident number 12170175341."
They also said that if anyone who keeps diesel in tanks on their property would like security advice, they can email North Yorkshire police rural task force on ruraltaskforce@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
