Fire service called to Malton chimney fire
FIRE crews have extinguished a small fire in a property in Malton.
The callout came last night just before 7pm.
The fire engines from Malton station attended the property on Old Malton Road to find a chimney fire, believed to have been caused by a build-up of soot.
Crews extinguished the hearth fire with a hose reel.
