VISITORS to Beck Isle Museum in Pickering have been exploring traditional countryside crafts.
The museum recently had a week of rural crafts aimed at families.
Ella Voce from the museum said: "We held a rural crafts day where we had volunteers demonstrating traditional crafts like butter making, crocheting and spinning."
The day, which saw children able to get involved in the activities, also allowed them to try their hand at various kinds of printmaking.
Beck Isle, a museum which preserves and exhibits items of local historical interest, is running an exhibition throughout 2017 called '50 years in 50 objects' a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the museum, exploring its wide-ranging collection.
