POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was spotted driving erratically and a man was "detained" by security staff.
The incident happened at Primrose Valley, near Filey, at around 11.30pm on Monday, May 22.
Police were called to the scene due to the report of a car "being driven erratically".
Upon their arrival, a man in his 20s had been detained by security staff.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains at this time.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the car being driven around that time on the site, or anyone else who may have witnessed the man being detained in the grounds of the park.
