FIRE services have helped a woman from her car after it overturned on a Ryedale road.
Crews were called just after 6pm last night to Ruffin Lane in Eddlethorpe, south of Malton, where there had been a the single vehicle collision.
Two crews from Malton were despatched.
At the scene they found a Vauxhall Astra which had which had left the road and overturned, coming to rest against a tree.
One woman in her 50s was trapped inside the upside-down vehicle.
Using an electric winch, strops, salvage sheets, reciprocating saw and small tools, crews stabilised the vehicle and created a clear path for her to exit the car.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said that they had received a call to the incident at 6.06pm.
Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
The spokesperson said that two people were treated for minor injuries at the scene but that no-one needed transporting to hospital.
