YOUNG cancer victim Bradley Lowery has visited Flamingo Land.
The five-year-old, from Blackhall, in County Durham, who has captured the hearts of the nation, has been undergoing treatment at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary to slow down the effect that neuroblastoma is having on him.
After reading that Bradley’s wish was to visit the park, Flamingo Land Resort invited Bradley and his family for a short break over the Easter holidays, with staff and homeowners rallying together to make it a weekend to remember.
“Bradley and his family are an inspiration to us all and we hope they enjoyed a fantastic weekend in the theme park and viewing our animal collection,” said Gordon Gibb, CEO at Flamingo Land Resort.
“In addition to fast passes and ride photographs, they also enjoyed VIP animal encounters with both lemurs and meerkats so Bradley could get close to the animals.
"It was the least we could do to ensure this little boy had the best time with us.”
