A RYEDALE art group have raised £300 for a local hospice following their latest exhibition.
The Moorland Art Group's annual art exhibition, held last year in Lastingham Village Hall, raised the money for St Catherine's Hospice, and recently they were able to present the cheque to the charity.
Moorland Art Group have been raising funds for St Catherine's for the past 27 years through their annual art exhibition, along with donations from general art sales.
Over the years the group have raised tens of thousands of pounds for patient care.
Saint Catherine's Hospice provides in and out-patient care, neurology support, bereavement support and day care for patients across a 1,600 square mile area, including Ryedale, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Driffield, Hunmanby and Whitby.
