Malton branch of Yorkshire Cancer Research during their annual fundraising
THE Malton branch of Yorkshire Cancer Research held their annual Christmas lunch at the Talbot Hotel in Malton, raising £1,270.
More than 50 supporters attended and enjoyed a two-course meal and a glass of fizz. Following the lunch they listened to a talk from Jean Harrod, who worked as a British diplomat.
Her debut crime novel, Deadly Diplomacy introduced us to Jess Turner, diplomat and Detective Inspector Tom Sangster. Her second novel Deadly Deceit was released last year.
