THE OFFICIAL map of Alpamare Scarborough, the £14 million water park that will open next month on the Yorkshire coast, has been made public for the first time.

Developed by Marek Jagucki Cartoons in cooperation with Bloom advertising agency, it has been created in a bright, illustrative style, complete with signposting to all the different parts of the attraction.

The map will allow potential visitors to the water park to get a real flavour of what thrilling rides and first class experiences await them, including giant indoor wave pool, four alpine themed adrenaline inducing slides, outdoor family pool and indulgent iodine infinity pool - both heated to 35°c, terrace overlooking Scarborough’s stunning coastline, landscaped gardens with sunbeds, pool bar and restaurant.

The map will be used to full advantage throughout Alpamare’s online and printed promotional material including the main information leaflet for the water park, which will be distributed widely across Yorkshire and beyond to raise awareness of Alpamare’s first ever coastal attraction.

Dr Anton Hoefter, Alpamare Chief Executive Officer said: “We’re delighted with our new map, which we will be using to create excitement locally and throughout the region ahead of our opening next month. To date, people have only been able to see pictures of a construction site or architects drawings, so we’re hoping that this map will allow people to truly see what a wonderful world class attraction we have created here on the Yorkshire coast.

“We are currently finalising our website in anticipation of a launch later this month, which will feature an interactive version of the map, alongside all the crucial information water park fans will need to help them plan a visit to Alpamare Scarborough.”
