A RYEDALE charity is urging people to discover their romantic side and help raise money for a good cause.
Acorn Community Care in Norton is hosting a special evening on Saturday, February 13, from 7.30pm to 11pm, at the town's Ryedale Community Leisure Centre.
The Valentine dance will include music, canapes and a chocolate fountain. The dress code is black tie or dinner suit.
Ruth Halliday, from Acorn, said: “Get romantic for charity - people at Acorn just love any opportunity to socialise and get together with friends and family. Come and join in the fun at the Valentine’s dance, where the luxury chocolate will be flowing freely.
"The dance will help to raise the profile of the charity and through the raffle, help fund our growing projects."
Tickets are £12 and available from Acorn Community Care, Whinflower Hall, Scarborough Road, Norton, phone 01653 699922.
