RESIDENTS of all ages gathered across Ryedale to remember the fallen at 11am on Armistice Day.
Local people including members of the Royal British Legion and civic dignitaries observed the two-minutes silence outside the old town hall in Malton's Market Place.
Also attending the service was Ryedale MP Kevin Hollinrake and children from Housemartins day nursery in Malton.
Services were also held at Helmsley, Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale.
St Peter’s Church, Norton, will be open during daylight hours for quiet reflection anyone who wishes to come and find a quiet space.
