GREEN fingered pupils at West Heslerton Primary School have been growing their own pumpkins in preparation for a fundraising event this Saturday.
The Friends of the School have organised a pumpkin trial in the village hall from 2 - 4pm.
Activities will include games, competitions and refreshments.
Youngsters will also be taking part in a pumpkin art contest using the vegetables they have grown at school.
