GILLAMOOR Primary School was filled with Willy Wonkas, Witches, Fantastic Mr Foxes and other strange characters to show their support for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
As part of the Dahlicious Dress Up Day, ‘Golden Tickets’ were awarded to pupils who in the early part of the term had shown excellence in various aspects of school work.
Teacher Andrew Dean said: “It was a fun way for our children to celebrate these wonderful books, but also to remind them of the work of the Roald Dahl’s Charity which makes the lives easier for children who are seriously ill.”
