New college for Scarborough
Students are in line to benefit from a new £10m university college due to be built in Scarborough.
The University Technical College will be one of seven due to be built nationwide as part of a Government scheme to develop the skills base among young people.
The college, which will be built at the resort’s business park at Eastfield, will cater for students from the Ryedale, Whitby and Scarborough area and is due to open in two years.
