SOMBREROS at the ready, a well-loved Malton Mexican restaurant is celebrating its 15th anniversary and its owner has attributed its success to their loyal customers.
Owner of El Gringos, in Saville Street, Chris Itburrun said: “I want to thank all of the customers who have visited us over the past 15 years. We have had people who come every week and sometimes I don’t even think they are hungry, they just come out of habit.
“I feel privileged and very pleased to have reached 15 years in such a great town.”
Mr Itburrun also has another El Gringos restaurant in Scarborough and one in York, which is under the name of Fiesta Latina.
He is currently in the process of selling El Gringo’s in Malton and he is hoping to move to Bridlington in September.
