Lynda Beast roaming in Ryedale
A MINIATURE Ryedale venue is celebrating its 25th birthday on BBC Music Day, Thursday, June 15.
To celebrate, there will be a tour of Malton, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley, Hovingham and Brawby by Lynda Beast - “witch, adept, poet, visual artist, dancer and performer”.
A spokesman for the Shed said that Lynda will be touring with a 1960s Sprite caravan, will read tea leaves and palms, and play the “violin, guitar, piano, pocket trumpet and spoons”.
The Shed’s first gig was in St Lawrence’s Church, Kirby Misperton, on June 12, 1992.
