PHOTOJOURNALIST Kate Holt will share her experiences working as in Afghanistan at a talk this week.
Kate was the only UK photographer to be allowed access to the specialist team working to locate deadly devices.
During the talk, Kate will show her photographs from the last eight years covering the war.
A freelance photojournalist, regular Guardian contributor and nominated twice for the Amnesty Award for Humanitarian Reporting, this is a unique opportunity to hear a a raw and unflinching talk about the realities of the Afghanistan conflict and long term impact on the landscape and people.
The talk will be held at Newburgh Priory, in Coxwold,on Thursday, followed by a drinks reception.

Proceeds from this event will donated to Team Rubicon which utilises the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams in the UK and around the world.
